Our waterfront has existed for thousands of years and does not require management or maintenance, with the sole exception of controlling the growth of phragmites. This natural area is important for more than just the plants that inhabit. The waterfront provides habitat and feeding area for many species of fish, birds, and mammals. We are partners in the collective stewardship of this protected area.
